I am a licensed professional counselor and supervisor and registered play therapist. I am EMDR trained to Bt Center.  I am a Certified Daring Way Consultant utilizing the works of Dr. ​Bren'e  Brown on Shame, Empathy & Vulnerability.  I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Texas Counseling Association, and the Association for Play Therapy.  I offer a variety of therapeutic services for addressing depression, anxiety, grief, low self esteem, trauma and sexual abuse.  I work with families and couples to address destructive relationship patterns, codependency and difficult parent/child relations as well as working with adolescents and children to resolve behavioral concerns. 
I received my Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University in Psychology,  Master of Counseling from Texas Woman's University, and I am currently working on a Doctorate from Texas A&M Commerce.  I have been married for 32  years, have two grown sons and 5 grandchildren.

Chloe is a  7 year old Golden Retriever who absolutely loves working with children, teens and adults. 


Karen is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). She completed her undergraduate degree at University of North Texas, majoring in Rehabilitation with an Addictions minor. Karen received her Master's of Science from Texas Woman's University in Family Therapy. Karen's clinical experience includes counseling at TWU's student clinic, providing family therapy at a residential facility for adjudicated juveniles, working at a residential facility for adults with addictions and co-occurring mental health issues, and in private practice. She enjoys working with individuals (both adults and adolescents), families, couples and groups. Karen is trained in EMDR.
